Welcome to Minnesota Emergency Disability Services
Welcome to the Minnesota Emergency Disability Services our organization is a Minnesota-based 501(C)(3) nonprofit. Our organization exists within the private sector to create a partnership between the general public safety such as police fire and medical to provide the unique services that those with unique circumstances require.
Minnesota Emergency Disability Services provides services to the disabled community through our Trap–Ride program disaster relief, and safety lighting system program. Minnesota Emergency Communication Team has developed these programs because we have learned through life experiences and other resources that these programs are integral to the disabled communities that we serve; and these programs do not already exist in the disabled communities.
As we all are aware living with unique circumstances such as disabilities we require other accommodations such as a mobility device adapted housing and other community supports. The Minnesota Emergency Disability Services is run by a team of volunteers who truly understand disabilities. Many of our staff here at Minnesota Emergency Disability Services live and work within the disability community.
